(Pictured here is ex-Boston Red Sox Manager Terry Francona, a very visible user of chewing tobacco.)

The guys I have worked with all have eventually left that habit behind, but a few of them have asked to return weeks, months, even years later to have a ‘tune-up’… and the reason is that some new stress has entered their lives… a new career, new relationship, a new baby… something that has provided enough stress to re-ignite that old habit.

So, it is important to realize that we are only human and can inadvertently fall back into old negative patterns, if we are not consciously vigilant… and often, we cannot be.

The letting go of old habits is a process… and often it takes time… but that’s OK. There is always help available right here.

One example is a woman who had flunked the California Bar Exam six times – yes, six! She felt defeated and not very smart or bright, although she was very intelligent and competent… she just had issues with test taking. She was so embarrassed about not passing the Bar so many times, that she didn’t know what to do, as she wanted to move forward in her law career. Her husband, who is a lawyer, met me at a BNI meeting and referred her to me.

We worked for probably 4 sessions… she passed the Bar and last I heard, she was Dean of a Law School!!

Second example is a woman who had gotten several low scores in the GMAT… and she wanted to get into a good Business School and wanted a score near 700. We worked for 3 sessions and she emailed me that her score was 720 and now she’s applying go great Business Schools.

Third example is a guy who had just finished his Psychiatry residency… he was extremely intelligent, but had doubts about taking his oral Psychiatry Boards and felt he needed my help. We worked for 3 sessions and he emailed from just taking the oral exams telling me that the recordings made for him were perfect before the exam and he felt comfortable, knowledgeable, and relieved and knew he presented himself very well.

Fourth example is a high school girl who had a negative attitude and felt insecure about taking the ACT… but knew that she had to score well. Her parents suggested that she work with me… though she was a bit skeptical. After 3 sessions, she was able to raise her score 12%… and the whole family was pleased.

So, whatever test you are taking…
You can remove any obstacle in your way
Pick up the phone, write an email and contact Kay.

One client called to tell me that she had misplaced her gorgeous wedding ring that looked a lot like Princess Diana’s that Kate Middleton is now wearings (shown here)… She had looked and looked… And had even received a huge insurance check to replace it… but she didn’t want the money, she wanted her own, original ring!

She had looked “everywhere” and was afraid that one of her small children had done away with it… like down the toilet…

We had three hypnotherapy sessions… She was convinced that she would go to the ‘right’ location and would find it. She called awhile later reporting with great enthusiasm that the ring had turned up in one of the boxes she thought she had already looked in!

(And by the way, when she sent the insurance check back to the company, they offered to re-pay her for the costs of meeting with me… A much better deal for them!)

Another client had put away her wedding ring just before leaving for a trip abroad… She wanted to “hide” it for safekeeping in their absence and told her husband where she was “hiding” it.

After returning from a long trip, neither she nor her husband could remember where that “hiding” place was. She came in for three sessions of hypnotherapy… and knew that she would find the ring… so she stopped worring about it. After several months, I called to ask her if she’d found her ring… Oh yes, her husband was checking out the pockets of a jacket to send to Goodwill… and there it was! They both finally remembered that they had put the ring there… and all is well.

What does hypnotherapy have to do with this… who knows? But it worked and now both wedding rings are on their proper fingers once again!

1) Drink less alcohol
2) Eat healthy food
3) Get a better education
4) Get a better job
5) Get fit
6) Lose weight
7) Manage debt
8) Manage stress
9) Quit smoking
10) Reduce, reuse and recycle

I am here at the computer on New Year’s Day and glancing over that list above… and realizing that during this last year and for most of the 23 years of my hypnotherapy practice, I have helped clients achieve ALL of those resolutions… FREE themselves of old patterns and old ways of thinking, and develop new ways of thinking and new ways being.

With the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) they are able to “Let Go” and close down old brain pathways… and with Hypnotherapy, Guided Visualization, and Positive Suggestions create new brain pathways so they can think and act in new, healthy, and positive ways.

So, in this New Year of the powerful Water Dragon of 2012, I look forward with great anticipation to being able to guide and assist many new clients to create the life of magnificence that they want and deserve!
